Our latest from @MADREspeaks:
For sustainable peace and security, Yemen needs a community-driven peace process - not another US-driven political process focused on security primacy and corrupt military officials.

This moment demands a reset. J Street is calling for the U.S. to end unconditional financial military subsidies to Israel and to move towards a relationship where we treat Israel like any other ally.
J Street supports:
โ Phasing out taxpayer-funded military aid by 2028, when the current agreement ends.
โ Ensuring Israel can defend itself, by selling โ not subsidizing โ the weapons it needs, including Iron Dome.
โ Enforcing U.S. law on how American arms are used, including withholding certain weapons when those laws are not met.
Why now? The current U.S. aid agreement expires in 2028. This is the moment to chart a smarter path forward. At the same time, after the devastation in Gaza and ongoing suffering in the West Bank, it is clear that the status quo is no longer sustainable.
Israel is strong, prosperous and capable of paying for its defense. Treating Israel as an exception and supplying it with a blank check worth billions has made support for the country more divisive and less sustainable.
Simply put, the U.S. should treat Israel like any other partner. The normalization of this relationship doesnโt weaken the alliance โ it strengthens it, protects democracy and secures long-term bipartisan support.
There is not a single woman at the inaugural board meeting of the Board of Peace.
Not a single female voice representing US diplomacy, or the Middle East region in which women are 50% of the population.
@MeghanMcCain As a huge proponent of women, I totally agree with this take and it's why I registered Democrat.
Whether you have kids, want kids, want more kids, cant have kids, don't want kids, foster or adopt - or are sometimes between opinions - you know what?
It's your choice.

For your consistent bravery & clarity.
We won't let the bullies win.
Iโm ok. Iโm a survivor so this small agitator isnโt going to intimidate me from doing my work.
I donโt let bullies win.
Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

@ryangrim Do you not believe we live in a patriarchy?
I am trying to understand if this is a 'reverse racism' claim but w/ sexism, and how a reporter I respect so much would feel this way.
There are consequences to policies that ignore the people leaders are meant to serve and protect.
A feminist foreign policy that centers gender justice, human rights, & demands the dismantling of toxic masculinity norms is the alternative we need. https://t.co/4ZvxLpckcI
Dear Rich People Leaving NYC:
I humbly accept the responsibility. I will take your brownstone and turn it into a feminist co-op for anti-militarism organizing.
Just, ssh. Let it go.

Some people are not students of history: US intervention does not have humanitarian outcomes.
Not in this century.

When I do hate men, it's because they have done extraordinarily hateful and violent things.
Don't be mad at the consequences: be mad at the initial actions.
