The whole―
“I wrote you letters”
“what letter” is actually the most violent plot twist known to mankind. because wdym character A poured their hearts into letters which character B NEVER received???? emotional terrorism.
At 3, my son still falls asleep often with the palms of his hands on each cheek. It’s so delightful and he’s been doing it since he was a baby. I even remember seeing it in one of his ultrasounds. Sometimes I’ll fall asleep and realize my hands are in little fists right at my chest and I wonder if I did that in my mother’s womb. I wonder if we all sleep the way we felt most comfortable from the very beginning of our lives.
Don’t yall find it kind of underwhelming when a main character has zero interest in love, intimacy, or just any type of romance? It’s a huge part of human life yet it gets erased in so many stories, which i think makes them less interesting
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped…”
Orwell 1984
@hispanicnomad@SketchesbyBoze The Little Paris Bookshop is a short romantic story about and older fella who is very stuck and slowly becomes unstuck. Inspiring to me.
@sandiinas i dont understand how people could live any other way than this
