Service users and staff on PICU ward at LYPFT are delighted to have been given a cardio wall @ruggedinteract . We are already seeing the benefits of it encouraging social engagement, communication, along with regular exercise and of course some healthy competition! @LYPFT_PLDT

A therapeutic morning spent on a walk taking in the scenery & getting our steps in, in collab with one of the service users. One of her current goals is to build up her confidence and self esteem on public transport/in community, along with engaging in meaningful activity💫

Today on PICU, we put up the Christmas tree, made decorations for the tree & made cards for loved ones. It was a great chance for service users to be creative and engage in meaningful occupation, while encouraging social engagement! @LYPFT_HWB @LYPFT_Improve @LYPFT_PLDT

We live in a small village in Clare. We have a Ukrainian lady and her 12 year old son staying with us over 2 weeks now. The other day she asked me if everyone around here knows that they are Ukrainian, because everyone smiles and says hello like they've known her for years.

Our mindfulness room on PICU ward coming along nicely, service users have been engaging in both group and 1:1 mindfulness sessions and have reported having better sleep, feeling more relaxed and focused👏🏻✨ @LeedsAHWN @LeedsandYorkPFT

Mindfulness session today on the ward , using resources from our calm box @Safewards such as face masks , stress balls, herbal teas and hand cream. Refreshing to have some time to just focus on the here and now in a less stimulus environment @LeedsandYorkPFT @LeedsAHWN
