@bioenergeticmel It's normal. The lower your weight is at the start of pregnancy, the more weight you're supposed to gain. You end up losing like 80% of it in the 2 weeks after birth. I know I did.
@therealmissjo This brought back memories of the corner shop man who would always give me lollipops when I was little and eventually my parents wisened up and stopped accepting them, and then stopped going there with me altogether.
@RRR0BYN I think part of this is just experience. I never held a baby before I held my own and this is the reality for many women now, no wonder most of us feel overwhelmed with just one!
@TheLaurenChen Yeah, surely if quantity is what matters then women who have been on the pill from their teens to mid 30s should have a much longer reproductive window? But something tells me this isn't the case.
@RRR0BYN I agree and think that the way you parent your kids is mostly important for creating a good relationship between you, and between the kids themselves. It's also important for creating healthy habits eg around food and work ethic.
@RRR0BYN I also believe it's 99% down to their innate personality and I've only got one so far. It does make me kinda nervous for the future because of how unpredictable this is.
@Elliesmommyy23 Tomato pasta with ground pork. I ate it every day pretty much except back then I ate ground beef because it wasn't as horrendously expensive as it is now.
@Ruesavatar I can't fathom marrying or even dating a man more than 1 year younger than me, and even that is pushing it. 90% of relationships I've seen where the woman was younger ended up crashing and burning but people don't like when I point that out.
@RealDianeYap Idk, this is how I feel about most things that most people talk about but I still pretend to care for the sake of social cohesion. I'm autistic btw.
@RRR0BYN I think homesteading is cool but living a million miles away from the nearest shop/hospital/anything is depressing and I hated every second of it when I was forced to live that way.
@Hestia_Esq Before I got pregnant I had the perfect diet of only whole foods, high protein, no seed oils, etc. In my first trimester I couldn't even stomach plain rice or bread without nausea meds. I didn't even know it could be that bad!
@RRR0BYN Imagine being this happy about taking a baby away from their mum. And the weird faux pregnancy announcement as if one of them is actually pregnant. Makes me sick tbh
@RRR0BYN The amount of people who believe that children under 3 NEED to go to nursery/daycare for "socialisation" and will even be harmed without it is actually quite rage-inducing. My own dad thinks this. Luckily they couldn't afford daycare when I was little.
@RRR0BYN You do you! I can't imagine being happy while eating the amount of calories required to be truly skinny tho. I've never felt better about my body than I do now that I lift heavy and eat in a moderate surplus, it's the best feeling imo.
