Has anyone heard the #13ReasonsWhy#Pandora advertisements? #IMO the split ear thing is way (way way way) overdone there. It made me kind of dizzy #tbh. #notafan
So my dog freaked out when I tried to do a live 😂 but yeah. My business is the sum of all the life stuff that happens in my life, for better or for worse ✌🏻
It’s the ideas I have at 3am or PM. It’s the friends I meet and the clients I am blessed to work with. It’s after hours, even in the middle of the night. It’s evolving.
It IS me. It’s the late nights, early mornings, and lazy afternoons. It’s tweeting from the bath, from highway turnouts, from bed. It’s quiet weeks and hustle weeks. It’s balance, yin and yang.
And Homer will always be home in the technical sense, but I have honestly had more homey feelings for Kodiak than Homer ever since I stepped foot on island soil.
The cabin I grew up in will always be a very special home to me, even though I barely remember it and it usually doesn’t feel like a real place or experience.
But Grants Pass doesn’t count, even though I lived there longer than in Portland and I have family history there. No part of that experience felt homey in the slightest.
So I lived in Kodiak the first 2 years after HS. I know it’s probably a pretty average little AK town to most, but I LOVED it. My life was really messy the whole time I lived there, but somehow I left w almost 100% good vibes about it.
