@WOODTV If this was truly a planned outage, it’s ludicrously irresponsible action by @ConsumersEnergy. Customers were not informed (I have an infant at home and our house is now freezing cold) and there have been multiple accidents in the area already due to dead stoplights.
@FrontierCorp it is impossible to get in touch with a human at your company. My internet service has been out for several hours already with no yet ETA provided.
Lol NCAAW bball has historic opportunity to get more eyes on the sport and the refs do this. I don’t even have a stake in the game and it’s left me in a horrible mood. Awful
John Hao is an international student from China who was a victim of the shooting at MSU on Monday night. His injuries include being paralyzed from the chest down and as he recovers the financial burden will be substantial. Please donate if you can

JUST IN: Train derails outside Detroit, Michigan, at least one car carrying hazardous materials.
Can someone tell them to not chemically nuke Detroit too?

This is a vetted GoFundMe for one of the MSU students injured in yesterday’s shooting. She is a student in the Michigan State University College Assistance Migrant Program and has a long recovery ahead of her.
I just spoke to a wonderful person named Rebecca on the line below who helped with some of the grief I’m feeling.
I can’t recommend these resources enough right now. You’re all loved.
A survivor of the Sandy Hook School mass shooting in 2012 is a student at Michigan State University: “I am 21-years-old and this is the second mass shooting I’ve lived through. We can no longer allow this to happen. We can no longer be complacent.”
Slotkin, who represents Oxford: "I cannot believe I am here again doing this 15 months later I am filled with rage we have to hold another press conference to talk about our children being killed in schools.”
Turned off the coverage of the MSU mass shooting because this cuts deep. Met some of my best friends there, and my husband. I have friends I went to MSU with whose kids are now students. So many of my friends work there. Having to text them to make sure they’re safe was terrible.
I honestly don’t know what to say about what is unfolding right now at MSU—the place that me, my mom, sister, cousins and so many loved ones called home for so many years. Places we used to share meals are being used as staging areas for the victims of yet another mass shooting.
Absolutely devastated over the violence and tragedy at MSU tonight. An entire generation of young Spartans who will carry this trauma with them for the rest of their lives. It’s so wrong. I’m SICK
MSU ALERT: There have been shots fired near Berkey Hall on the East Lansing campus. Please secure-in-place immediately. Police are active on scene. More information to follow.
