Instead of sharing the horrific, vile, & heart-stopping video of Charlie Kirk being shot, I urge you to share images of his beautiful family whose worst nightmare has come true.
Every kid deserves a dad.
Every wife deserves a husband.
Every American needs Charlie Kirk.
We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.
The thing about Gen X women who are over 50 is that they grew up roaming dark streets and drinking in parks.
They had to get home alone with no phones, no money, and their parents never knew where they were.
Those women have zero f*cks or time for anyone's BS today.
"I have never questioned God as to why I have been dealt a few bad hands. But I have questioned Him as to why I have met so many wonderful people in my life."
-- Tim Strachan '94
March 2025
Tim Strachan was a T5 QB in the Class of '94 out of DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland, an elite QB class that included Peyton Manning.
Tim's CFB dreams were dashed when he was paralyzed in a diving accident just before his senior year.
But he was undaunted, and used his story as a testimony that inspired countless people.
Tim passed today. He was 49.
Please watch Tim address a youth football team about the power of the game and its lasting lessons, and faith in Jesus.
Rest in peace and thank you for your example of faith, family and football.
The Maryland football family is heartbroken to learn of the passing of former radio analyst and alum, Tim Strachan. A 1999 graduate of Maryland, Tim served as a student assistant coach and later joined Johnny Holliday in the broadcast booth. Tim was an incredible motivational speaker that inspired all of us throughout his life. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Tim's family and friends.
Had to share the most heartwarming use of AI I’ve seen yet.
A teacher made AI-generated images of her students as adults living their dream careers (ex: astronaut, football player, cartoonist, veterinarian) 🫶
81 years ago nearly all of the men on the first few boats that landed on the beach in Normandy were dead before days end.
Sit here with that for a while.
Look at them.
Really look at them.
Look into their eyes.
Many of them are boys, they are someone’s son, someone’s brother, someone’s sweetheart someone’s father.
They never came home.
And every privilege, every convenience, every freedom and every little thing that you want to bitch about you have because of them and they paid the ultimate price for you to have those freedoms. #dday #FreedomIsNeverFree
