@Heccles94 @jackyshaw @LeeAndersonMP_ Aside from everything else, it’s super unhelpful to refer to adhd as a childhood condition. As an adult with adhd, it’s patronising and infantilising that this condition is so strongly associated with childhood in the public consciousness.

@Bronwen85 Yes! I am vegan, and I have a cat. I know some vegans do not believe that having animal companions is compatible with being vegan, but I want to give the best life to my cat(s) and that includes giving her the proper diet. Why would I want to starve my little friend?!

I used to have a phobia of dogs (cured by hypnotherapy) & this used to piss me off so much. I had a phobia! It was irrational a lot of the time, the friendliness of your dog will not stop me having a panic attack! Ppl take it as a personal slight that u don’t love their dog

my daughter is mortally terrified of nearly all dogs and one thing that it’s taught me is that most owners are far more bothered about persuading you their dog is safe to be around than actually ensuring it is

I get what you mean but as someone with endo, I’m not just “lost earnings and disability benefits”.

Focusing on how much a person *costs their government* when they are experiencing daily pain and their life upturned feels a bit gross honestly.

Endometriosis costs the British economy £2.5 billion every year in lost earnings and disability & the average cost to the annual income of each individual patient is *forty thousand pounds* per year. I’ve said it before: if this affected cis men it would have been cured by now

Now I feel like there should be a new word for when speaker and the object are moving together, rather than the object being either taken away or brought towards the speaker
