@annbauerwriter I do find the newer water bottles keep the water cooler for much longer. It's nice when I'm on the beach or at the lake and just want to have a cool drink. But I'm not paying these prices. I usually just use a mason jar because I can't keep track of a water bottle
I am never leaving the Church and neither are you, and neither are millions of others.
The problem is not gossips or other awful people in the Church. The problem is poor formation resulting in so much pride and narcissism and self-absorption that love of Christ and the Eucharist is contingent on other attendees' behavior.
@cappuccinoo2000@Joeinblack Also weak priests & watered down doctrine: If Fr. X across town blessed a couple divorced/remarried outside the church, why won't mine? Why did Fr. Z tell me I could go to wedding of my gay friend/relative if it's wrong? The church must be wrong, needs to get w times, etc
@cappuccinoo2000@Joeinblack I think people leave because Catholicism conflicts w the world/what they want to do & they blame other things. It's hard for some people to reconcile, for ex, to love their gay or divorced family member yet not affirm what they do. It's easier to blame gossip or the sex scandal.
@BlockchainRob_@ProLifeisProGod@VeiledinPrayer protestant pastors often preach against Catholicism in the most dishonest or uncharitable ways because they know if people knew the truth most would attend Catholic Churches.
@TheOhioAlien@ProLifeisProGod@VeiledinPrayer It's also very telling that many protestant replies are to actively avoid understanding/continue to argue. What do you call the man who got your mother pregnant? https://t.co/0sovZjYeb5
@ProLifeisProGod@VeiledinPrayer it is not the priest forgiving us, I really do mean this in love and charity - you have misunderstandings about Catholicism. Instead of basing your ideas on info from people who either don't know or are anti-Catholic, you should read about Catholicism from Catholics & decide.
@ProLifeisProGod@VeiledinPrayer We do not worship Mary. We ask for intercession the same way I would (and do!) ask you to pray for me. You might read Rome Sweet Home by Scott Hahn, it explains some of this and he was a protestant pastor.
@Joeinblack was his greatest protector, don't think he wanted to cross them. This person literally openly encouraged division in families and the priest let it go. But we also know that people are imperfect and there were also be something we don't like about a place. Looking at her replies
@WallStreetApes They know people will take out lines of credit to pay thousands of dollars for pet care, giving medication daily, etc. And because we have started calling/treating pets as family members.
