It was me that @JohnRustad4BC chatted with. I shared my story of how I was brought back to life 6 times and if supervised consumption sites didn't exist then I wouldn't have almost 12 years of sobriety today.

I showed him pictures of my kids, and he seemed humbled by my story.

Harm reduction is a bridge to recovery, and everyone deserves the same opportunity I had. He told me he wouldn't close these sites. I believed he was being honest with me. And maybe he was at the time.

Now he's calling them "drug dens" and saying he'd shut them. I suspect his handlers pushed him into this because they think it will help them win.

What kind of a leader can't stand up for the basic things they believe in❓❓
