@BillyWayneDavis @businessgoos3 Yes. Visual impairments mean we cannot see or interpret your chosen graphic. It takes 2-5 min to craft a descriptor (eg, “GA tix for sale at X venue, ABC days, cost $10-10000”). Just because I’m going blind doesn’t mean I don’t love music or a good time.

@clhubes I miscarried on Mother’s Day after treatment for cancer (this was our surprise miracle baby.) I was v quietly crying, alone in my hospital bed, and had a nurse say “why are you so upset? You weren’t far along, this happens to so many people. Be grateful for the child you have” 😒

Not to be a Halloween Scrooge but I don’t like that everyone uses stencils to carve their pumpkins now. Jack-o-lanterns are supposed to be extremely unimpressive. You should have a vision in your head and then not be able to execute it. That’s what Halloween is all about.

Sec Yellen is right. The US can afford two wars. We can afford 4 wars. The US could also afford universal healthcare, a job guarantee, end to poverty. The question of what we can afford is not a real one. The only question, and the only thing that matters, is what we prioritize.
