Deeply saddened with the news that Vince Power has passed. The Kilmacthomas native changed the face of live music in Britain and created some of our greatest musical memories. A life less ordinary for sure. 💚
Last chance - consultation ends next week
🏥 The NHS could close maternity and neonatal services at Whittington Hospital

Exclusive: review of LTNs ordered by Rishi Sunak last year in a seeming attempt to block new ones has actually concluded they are generally popular and effective - so officials discussed burying it.

Stripping Shamima Begum of her citizenship when she was groomed at 15 years old by adult men, raped, married, and abused is one of the most appalling decisions I’ve ever seen.
And I want to draw your attention to a parallel.
The judge Dame Sue Carr stated today, ‘It could also be argued that Miss Begum is the author of her own misfortune.’
In 2013, the exact same words were said about teenage girls being raped, exploited and abused in Rotherham, Rochdale and Oxford.
The words used were, ‘these girls were the authors of their own downfall’.
This is the bullying of a victim of child grooming, trafficking and radicalisation and our government should be ashamed of what we have done to her.
Today at Highbury and Islington station I announced the new names for the London Overground lines and revealed the latest version of our Tube map.
Not only will it be easier than ever to navigate the Overground, the lines now reflect London’s rich local culture and history.
Hello Jay, we welcome a large number of refugees into Islington because we believe in supporting the destitute, because we want to do our share for the country, and because they usually enrich our community. What are you doing?
We know that the majority of people support the NHS and don't want to see it privatised
Together we can fight to save the NHS from the Tories

I don't understand how a referendum for basic rights can be conducted; fundamentally, this should not be allowed. This principle is crucial in the context of colonialism. #auspol
The final sea shanty of the trilogy 🎶⚓️(an adaptation of #Wellerman and #DrunkenSailor) inspired by @SuellaBraverman's recent speech on migration.
We stand and sing in solidarity with a different vision from #Braverman's of what our country stands for & who it should stand by🧡
First time the press regulator has forced a paper to correct an article written by a secretary of state. By Braverman inevitably. https://t.co/kKnL5oBZGs
I’m mad as hell to see how a party I was once proud to be part of, disrespects and unfairly treats @HackneyAbbott - I’m sick of it!
Between the Forde report, the abuse & experiences of Black members, nothing separates @UKLabour from other institutionally racist institutions
Dear @BBCNews. I am very concerned that you keep presenting people who are affected by waiting lists as victims of the strikers rather than the government
Hold on to your seats as the Conservative party hit back at Labour with a new Ad of its own - I’ve never seen so much bull**** crammed into sixty seconds
IOM is deeply concerned by the proposed changes to the modern slavery protection system in the UK as part of the new 'Illegal Migration Bill' which would exacerbate risks for survivors.
