Several of our past #FL Teachers of the Year created messages to share during the virtual celebration tonight. #WATCH below to hear what they had to say!

#REMINDER: The United States Census occurs every 10 yrs and has a powerful impact on the future of FL communities & their voice in Congress. It is critical that our #FL education community takes this brief survey.

Let there be no mistake about it. Florida’s B.E.S.T. standards ARE the best in the nation. Thank you @GovRonDeSantis for your leadership! https://t.co/gWQflKUsMj
The great work of our Florida educators and content experts involved in developing our B.E.S.T. standards is evident in this article - further evidence that Florida is the Education State! @EducationFL@richardcorcoran
"In our judgement, FL B.E.S.T. ELA standards come closer to best practice than do those of any other state in our country. They should ultimately be evaluated in this international light, rather than that of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) alone."

THANK YOU to our educators & superintendents for your dedication to all of FL’s students. Your hard work & compassion ensures students have stability & can continue to receive a great-education as we work together to #stopthespread of #COVID19. @USEDgov@VP@richardcorcoran
Great use of statistics & calculus- taking steps to not contaminate yourself & others is the way to “flatten the curve,” and reduce the spread of #COVID19.

It’s very important to remind your children of the importance of washing their hands. A great tip? Teach them to sing the “Happy Birthday” song twice in their head while they scrub- they should be washing their hands at least this long!

The new #FLBESTStandards END confusing/crazy math, infuse financial literacy throughout high school and focus on giving #FLstudents the flexibility to show their unique “strategy” for problem solving. #FLEdu@richardcorcoran
