@KatieNovakUDL Yes and no. I laminated large envelopes that the students decorated and used velcro enclosures. Cell phones went into the envelopes at the beginning of class. The first week the students hated me. The second week they said thank you. They realized how distracted they had been.

Marion PD and @MarionOHSheriff are re-starting a Law Enforcement Explorer Post. This is a hands-on program open to young men and women who have completed the 6th grade through 20 years old, interested in a career in law enforcement. Please help us spread the word!

Yesterday, Officer Bischoff represented Marion by participating in the procession that escorted Navy Corpsman Maxton Soviak home. Navy Corpsman Soviak was one of the 13 service members killed on 8/26 in Afghanistan.
