@monitornews Dear news media. Can we please get some compassion in your reporting? How about "McAllen ISD mourns the loss of an amazing student, fantastic athlete, shining young star". Your headlines are insensitive!
This is so inconsiderate of Moira’s family and friends who are trying to grieve in peace. Her family is trying to recover and THIS is what they have thrown in their faces?? Why not put a picture of Moira in honor of her? Also, she has a name. So disrespectful.
Is this seriously what you call a headline? This & the UNSOLICITED photos of children trying to grieve in peace- exploited as a piece of media? The lack of sympathy & compassion is disgusting, so disappointed in the way the monitor is handling this tragedy. Moira deserves better.
It’s been 1 year since we escaped the real world together and imagined ourselves someplace simpler. With tall trees & salt air. Where you can wear lace nightgowns that make you look like a Victorian ghost & no one will side eye you cause no one is around https://t.co/4Gfmh9hXDs
