@natgrace79 Not sure what videos you’re seeing, but I think this case is tragic and it’s very unfortunate that it’s become social media fodder. I work in MH and I’ve also personally experienced an acute postpartum MH crisis. I find the hot takes pretty disgusting across the board.
@natgrace79 I work at a public school in West MI that I think is doing a really good job overall. My best friend homeschools one of her kids and that’s working great for them. I also have friends who were homeschooled who wish they hadn’t been. So ya know, to each their own, I guess 🤷🏻♀️
@jtruzzolino@tjross Because she’s a woman. Everything I’m reading on here is men saying she shouldn’t comment on the USMT because women don’t have the same kind of experience. One guy literally compared her to a 3A HS football player trying to comment on the NFL. It’s wild.
@dingilusberrius@DawgsandGolf@CarliLloyd Lloyd has 132 club appearances and 316 international caps. She’s one of the most capped players in US soccer history. Comparing her to a guy who played 3A HS football is pretty freaking rude. You can disagree with her take, but saying she isn’t an expert is ridiculous.
@natgrace79 It isn’t really. And the USWNT, former and current, have all been super supportive of the men’s team during this World Cup. Though I do hope that folks who found joy in international football through the USMNT this season look to women’s football, as well. They’re pretty great.
@arielhelwani I really, really understand why this is such a pain point for folks. I think we all get the feeling. I do think that it was, at the very least, an incomplete, though. I also don't think this is the one thing that lost the Bills the game.
Contact your legislators today. Thank you for standing with us and fighting for Michigan's museums, theaters, galleries, and all of our arts and culture.
Yesterday, the Michigan House of Representatives passed a budget that completely eliminates funding for arts and culture, wiping out all Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) grants. In comments following the vote, Speaker Matt Hall called these grants "a real waste."
Our history isn't waste. Our music and art aren't waste. Our culture isn't waste. These cuts would be a huge loss for our community and for the entire state of Michigan. We can't let this go any further.
