Lovely article and infographic about healthcare practitioners' role in promoting physical activity and supporting patients to become more active. If exercise came in tablet form, we would all take it.Unfortunately it's not that simple, especially for those in pain.
🚨What should all health professionals know about movement behaviour change? 🤷♂️ 🏃♀️

Brilliant article by @PeteOSullivanPT.Important to have such publications in mainstream media, beliefs about "bad" posture are deeply engrained and cause understandablebut unnecessary concern. It has been useful to share this article alongside discussions in clinic
@guardian.
Only one in five adults meet WHO recommended weekly aerobic and resistance training guidelines. If exercise was a tablet, we all would take it.

Very impressive EFIC pain school. Well organised. Top speakers from different professions & research domains. However the attendes (from 17 different countries!) were the most impressive - so reflective, so curios, so knowledgeable. Pleasure to interact with you. @EFIC_org
"Is it more important the name or the explanation of the condition for the patient?" @MichaelRathleff showing the elephant in the room at the @EFIC_org Pain School on Musculoskeletal Pain!

Uncertainty drives behaviour; but HCPs are not always tuned in to understand how patients understand (or don’t understand) their pain, and thus also don’t understand why patients behave the way they do. We must understand to support! Prof @MichaelRathleff@EFIC_org#MSKpain23
Last day of EFIC Pain School in https://t.co/EQRT45JPdE has been an incredible week and a pleasure to learn alongside fellow physios, doctors,psychologists and researchers.Grateful to have the opportunity to share ideas and hear a variety of perspectives on msk pain#mskpain23
Do physical activities you enjoy, for fun, and for health benefits. But, challenge yourself to do exercises that are hard for you on the regular, to get stronger, and to prepare you for future life moments when you want to be fit and strong.
