A fabulous SCS for UCLA: Rachel Morrison wins the Gruen Prize, five grad students (some seen here) deliver papers, Hannah Čulík-Baird co-launches the new journal *Res Difficiles*, Bryant Kirkland receives a Goodwin Award of Merit, and we (mostly) avoided getting trapped at ORD!
Congratulations to the 2023 winner of the Gruen Prize, Rachel Morrison, and to 2023 honorable mention, Lylaah Bhalerao! Read more about the 2023 Gruen Prize, which honors the best graduate research paper on multiculturalism in the ancient Mediterranean: https://t.co/PBkPjXeERH

@markgoldbach@reospositivepov I appreciate the amount of confidence everyone has in me that I somehow managed to track down one of his short films just to dunk on it 😂
@AvariceKing @reospositivepov I thought the Larceny add on would make my dumb joke obvious but I really did think it was funny he had only worked on a few movies with L's in the title. But I see it was in fact, not an obvious joke.
