Holy shit, this “American girl” ad from @senecaprojectus is amazing!!!
Hard to see the letters I’m typing through the tears streaming down my face though.
We organize with Haitian-origin farm workers in NY. They’re as American as the apple pie their work makes possible, but right wing racists are spreading dehumanizing lies.
Haitians are not eating pets.
They’re feeding America.
The anti-Haitian bigotry we’re seeing is repulsive.
For outpatients with chronic pain receiving palliative care, opioid therapy reduced pain intensity, preserved function & decreased overdose risk over four years.
Perhaps we should focus on "right prescribing," instead of #OpioidReductionism... 🤔

Kids these days aren't as bad as we think.
We make the mistakes of comparing kids to our current traits—forgetting what we were like at their age—and comparing their limitations to our strengths.
Before we vilify younger generations, we should remember our own shortcomings.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s normal now
For parents who so carefully brush each tooth
And respond to each tear
Worry about each meal
Pack the backpack in the morning
To worry silently as we do
That our child will be shot to death at some point.
