@ScotRail Are we able to claim the costs for a taxi to Aberdeen cus weโre already halfway along a route with a route now closed? Not sure delay repay will cover cost cost
Today I arranged a early morning run with my Aunty, and it was so nice to be out on a crisp autumn morning and sort the world out, although it was 3/4 walking and 1/4 running (Iโm not very good...!). 5 miles overall, even though most was not fast. Still very proud of myself!
We did it. Buffer zones are now law.
We want to pay tribute to those who chose to speak through us and make their voices heard. This simply wouldnโt have been possible without every single one of you.
Thank you. ๐
This is right up there with โpalindromeโ not being a palindrome, โlispโ being unsympathetic to those who have one, โabbreviationโ being anything but, and โdyslexiaโ being tricky to spell.
Any others?
I did my first Parkrun at the weekend, and it was 1:20/km faster than my first ever 5k. Today I was able to do a lunch 5k. The other day I managed 8k. These are things I never thought I'd be able to do, and most importantly enjoy!
Next step, 10k in a couple of weeks.
A medieval sycamore tree which stood in a dramatic dip in Hadrian's Wall appears to have been felled overnight, the national park said https://t.co/KZqfUCgCtI
At the weekend I painted this room and ran an 8k.
This evening I cried because I couldnโt get GBBO to work on my tv and I had my snacks and tea all ready on my little treat tray.

If you're writing a book set in rural Scotland and all your characters go by their given names, I hate to break it to ya, but you're doing your readers a disservice.

Iโve seen a few talks by @GoingMedieval and would recommend every day to every person.
Thanks @IndiaRakusen for being curious and making me want to read even more!
Listening to a very interesting podcast on Witches, presented by @IndiaRakusen. Iโve been reading lots of fiction about the witch trials of Scotland, and Episode 3 in particular really got me.
Also great to hear @GoingMedieval
