When you expose a racist student, you stop them from attending a university that will allow them to become a racist healthcare worker, teacher, lawyer, real estate developer, politicians, etc.
Something I've learned while in law school is about the social construction of crime. I work in a legal clinic on wage theft cases, where employers have "improperly paid" workers by not paying, paying below min wage, withholding overtime, paid sick time, etc. 1/
They criminalize the homeless so that they don’t have to house them. They criminalize drug addicts so that they don’t have to address substance abuse as a public health problem. They criminalize the poor so that they don’t have to address wealth inequality.
@Rackman86 @SimonianAlex I’ve never been to your house. And they were confronted about 4 years ago when they were at my house making prank phone calls with the accent.

to imply that either of these deaths have anything to do with the protests is DANGEROUSLY disingenuous.
For anyone who’s still saying violence is not the answer please watch this thread and take a look at who is responsible for the violence. Why are people expected to react peacefully when this is how they are approached?
My friend sent me this video he took from today’s #LAProtests . See how the protesters provoked the cops right before they started beating them? ....yeah, me neither.
