The @SteeleAcademic Team was victorious over Oberlin with the score of 450-130. This was the highest score of the season of all teams. John Perez-Strohmeyer was the standout scholar for a record 5 times. The team advanced to next round on Feb 11!!

Waiting in line @USPS today, a 4-yr-old announced “I think I’ve met you before!” (she hadn’t) and spent next 10 minutes talking with me about everything from Scooby Doo stamps to unicorns. This delightful encounter made time fly & blessed my day. Kudos to the young mom (1/2)

@BCDreyer Have done similar since college (late 1980s): Instead of toast, start sandwich in pan, then finish in microwave so that middle is hot and melted but bread is not charred. College boyfriend: “You make the best grilled cheese sandwiches.” Still do, Rob!

Blessed by 2 strangers at my mom’s bank today: a 4yo boy who smiled broadly at everyone while waiting patiently with his dad, and an older woman who handed the boy a roll of quarters as she left, saying, “Keep smiling, young man!” ❤️❤️❤️
