@SoVeryBritish As a nurse working in a GP surgery, I can confirm this feeling is mutual. Additionally, as I work very close to where I live, this discombobulation happens quite often.

@AllotmentCat Those look like they will be nice juicy grapes 😋 Yes, food can bring back memories - I think it’s to do with the olfactory nerve linking smells to memory (Colin will explain!). Apple crumble reminds me of my childhood, made with the apples from the tree in my parent’s garden ☺️

@AllotmentCat Glad Colin got the message & you enjoyed your 2 breakfasts Janet! Some swear by it, but I rarely eat in the mornings. On work days I’m up early, do a workout and have a protein coffee 😋 Usually don’t eat until around 1pm! The exception is on holiday, I enjoy breakfasts then ☺️

@AllotmentCat They are funny things Amanda, but useful! I have a pair but don’t like the feel of them on my face 🫣 So instead I have glasses that you put in your eyes, known as contact lenses - I wonder who came up with that idea! It’s a marvellous invention 😁

When my mum travelled with me on a long journey from South to North, she made a makeshift litter tray with a shoe box lid, placed at the back of the carrier, leaving space with a blanket for me to sit on and be comfy. I chose to sleep on the litter tray the whole way 😼
