No matter the training and intelligence of a witness, even when they are saying the absolute truth, there are certain advocates that when they shake such witness, something will drop.
Sometimes, honesty isn't what is being tested in a testimony. You test recollection, possible exaggeration or downplaying of an account, infusion of bias in narration, basis of a belief, probabilities, means by which a conclusion is reached, among others.
A clergy once presented some members of his congregation for punishment. Their "crime" was that while hymns were being rendered to the Lord, the people were laughing.
My recollection of how the clergy man got to the witness box is now hazy, and I do not want to infuse a reason that I am not certain of. I think that such was a crime then. The clergyman was to be cross-examined. The advocate to cross-examine him had listened to his testimonies on other points, and he was able to tell that the clergy man was not blessed with a singing voice. So, in rounding off his cross-examination, this happened:
Counsel: On the day in question, who was taking the hymn?
Clergyman: I was. I was taking it, but they obstructed the process with their laughter and breached the peace and sacredness of a place of worship.
Counsel: Which hymn was it you were taking when they burst out laughing?
Clergyman: Hymn xyz.
Counsel: That is "xyz oh, my Lord"?
Clergyman: Right. A sober song that they made the butt of their silly joke.
Counsel: [Hands down the hymn note to the clergy, after he had opened to the hymn in question] Here, can you take this hymn right here, just like you did that day?
Clergyman: [Refuses]
Counsel: Mr. Xyz, should it be taken that you're keeping a fundamental evidence away from this honourable court?
Clergyman: [Clears his throat and starts to sing]
He hasn't gone 6 words into the hymn when the whole court erupted in laughter.
He didn't have a singing voice that anyone won't laugh about.
"Oh, we all couldn't hold the laughter? What moral authority does this court possess to sanction those who did what we just did?"
That ended the case.
I just found a beautiful scripture: Isaiah 41:10.
There will always be trials and tribulations in life, but God will carry you through every storm in your life. And give you strength to make it, even when you feel like you can't.❤️
The probelm with introducing stricter & stricter visa eligibility criteria...
Is you inevitably have to start introducing loopholes, exceptions & bespoke schemes for all the parts of the labour force that would collapse without immigrants.
We saw this already after Brexit🙄🙄🙄
This is what happens when you make policy to chase newspaper headlines without any consultation or impact assessments.
Public services and trade unions have been raising this across industries for months...
I am proud to report that I was very instrumental in ensuring this very wonderful news for our people.
We put in the work and at some point we thought they won't be a breakthrough whilst we put the MOJ under immense pressure.
It finally paid off.
Congratulations Guys.
It is always good to fight, although we can't win every fight
I need a stiff beer 🍺
I Finally Solved Fair Value Gaps:
1) Wait for a 4H FVG to form.
2) Wait for price to hit that 4H FVG on the 15 min.
3) Wait for price to aggressively shoot off leaving a new 15 min FVG.
4) Enter on that FVG.
5) Target a 3RR.

When you start making money consistently from trading
Do these 3 things‼️
▫️1. Level Up Your Tools & Mindset
Upgrade your setup, better gadgets, faster internet, clearer charts.
But more importantly, upgrade you. Invest in books, learning more and deeper market knowledge.
▫️2. Compound & Secure Profits
Don’t just let it sit - compound it. Withdraw intentionally. Save smart. Reinvest wisely, grow your capital.
Growth comes from what you keep, not just what you make.
▫️3. Don’t Let Confidence Become Cockiness
Stay humble. The market doesn’t care about your last win.
Overconfidence is the fastest way to donate your profits back.
At one point in a man's life, everything goes wrong, everyone leaves, and all he can do is spend time alone to fix himself. If you're in this situation I pray you make it big.
Let’s be honest
Risk management sounds boring until you lose money.
It’s easy to follow the rules when things are going well.
But what about when you’re emotional…
when you just lost two trades back to back…
and you’re thinking,
“Let me increase my lot size and get it all back”?
That’s where most traders blow their accounts.
It’s not that they don’t know how to trade…
They just couldn’t control themselves when it mattered most.
If you want to last in this game, learn to protect your capital.
Stay calm. Take your time. The market isn’t going anywhere.
