even if the answer isn’t what i want...God, you are still good.
dare to thank God even when it’s dark. that’s what faith is about; choosing trust EVEN when it doesn’t make sense.
when you start to feel unloved or unworthy, remember the love that never gives up on you and never gives up in pursuing you. God loves you so incredibly much.
face your suffering. God will meet you in the honesty of your suffering. John 20:17, Jesus tells Mary Magdalene, “do not cling to Me.” He doesn’t want us to hold onto the idea of Him as simply one aspect, but rather in the promise that He is so much more; our God and our Savior.
sometimes the God we want, is not always the God we need.
His wisdom is not man’s wisdom multiplied to even the highest of degree.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9
our God is in control and nothing surprises Him. We have to trust that everything is for our good and for His glory. There will be answers we won’t get on this side of heaven, but we have to keep choosing trust.
God wants us to do more than just survive; He wants us to thrive. In His eyes we are worth more than simplicity, and we are desired to have so much more.
Trust that our Father does not know suffering or loss. He is strong even when we are not.
not once in the Bible does it say to worry about it, lose sleep over it, fret or stress about it. but His word does tell us to trust, over and over, that God has a plan... even when we don’t understand.
