While I’m not proud of it, my confession for #superbowlintheconvent (pun intended 😂) is that when Sister picked me up from the airport after returning from our provincial chapter meetings my first question was “did Taylor make it?” 😂 🤦🏾♀️
We found a way to watch the #SuperBowl in English…
Nun 1: oh. I think I liked the commercials in Spanish better!
(Reader, she does not speak Spanish AT ALL)

We got rid of our cable last year so we weren’t sure if we got the channel for the #SuperBowl
One of the sisters came running into the refectory, “GOOD NEWS!! We get the game!! It’s in Spanish….but at least we can watch the game!”
#superbowlintheconvent
"We're going to need the new hearing aids from chapel!"
"Oh that's because I kept the volume down because they're just blabbering on about nothing until the game starts."
"It's not 'nothing' if you like football!!
"Ok, Ok!!!"
[the volume goes up!]

Nun 1: “Honestly, the Spanish announcers are MUCH more excited than the English speaking ones. The other announcers should take notes!”

Nun 1: “Wait, if we’re watching the #SuperBowl in Spanish does that mean the commercials will be in Spanish??!!”
Nun 2: “most likely. Might wanna pull out your Duolingo.”

The sisters in EST are dropping one by one for early morning prayer tomorrow… but Boston’s still got three millennials and a sister in her 70s in for the long haul! 🏈#superbowlintheconvent
