@lrncrlsl My eportfolio will probably be used as a place to store my future papers. Literally nothing about this process has come easily to me. I am constantly struggling and there is no respite.

@PurdumRen my main concern with my portfolio is just that i've never made a eportfolio or a website before so I'm not really confident about anything I'm doing. It's going okay-ish so far so I'm going to try to stay positive though

Q2. I prefer to compose in complete silence. I get really distracted when there is a lot of outside noise so its best if I'm left aline with my own thoughts when i write.

Q1. I personally still struggle to define these terms but in my mind, multimodal means using different forms of technology to compose something. So writing something down on paper and then typing it up is a form of multimodal composing as well as making a video or a website.

@TheDrMollyD I read it on my laptop and once I finished the first page i clicked through the hyperlinks on the bottom... I will admit to skimming through the video descriptions rather than reading them in depth.

@TheDrMollyD i do believe it will take a long time for teachers to acclimate themselves to technology. Especially as it continues to advance. Many teachers struggle to incorporate the technology we have now and it has already been around for years.

@GxbrielxBxez when i read the word "squishy" as a descriptor for digital literacy i interpreted it to mean that the defenition isnt fixed or set in stone. Digital literacy can be defined in a lot if different ways and how we define it will change with time.

@evmass7165 @TheDrMollyD @KailynTerry26 i think multimodal texts can be used to convey a variety of messages, they just convey the messages in a non traditional manner.

@KailynTerry26 i haven't really started on my e profile and im a bit nervous to start it. the idea of displaying my "best works" is is incredibly daunting and ive never made a website before. I'm hoping that once i start on it my nerves will ease a bit.

@JShifflett08 @TheDrMollyD i do think that blending visuals within written language is helpful, especially in a learning environment. When reading about more abstract concepts, a diagram or a picture really tends to help me better understand what i'm reading.

@rhschm @TheDrMollyD After reading this weeks documents, i realized that i need to be less harsh on my first drafts. They're not meant to be perfect and i shouldn't expect them to be.
