I really respect people who can save money by eating at home. If I have a bad day at work, I’m picking up food. If I have a good day at work, I’m picking up food to celebrate. If I make my own lunch, I’m still picking up food for dinner since I already saved money on lunch.
It really just bums me out that we have the resources to fix our society, stop our reliance on fossil fuels, guarantee healthcare, house the homeless, and feed every person in the country, but doing so would be a bad time for like, 8 men, so we can’t do it.
I don’t want my daughter to be like me. I want her to speak up sooner. Walk away faster. Trust herself deeper. Apologize less. Take up more space. Ask bigger questions. Dream louder. And if that means she becomes everything I wasnt… GOOD!
THIS. it sounds harsh but it’s true, and it’s okay that not everyone is a writer. not everyone *needs* to be a writer. having ideas is not enough to claim yourself as one - you’ve got to be willing to turn that into words on a page that you yourself have crafted.
i always interpreted riku having long hair in days and kh2 as him neglecting himself due to the hold darkness had on him + he seemed very drained. even tho he looked cool i like to think him having shorter hair was him finally having the energy to commit to self care and himself
