The users need to enter the details of the book that they read in a register and then place it back in the box after reading. People can also leave their feedback in the register. We also encourage people to donate the books either directly in the box and or to the address below.

This initiative is piloted in 10 parks across North Chennai Region. Based on the feedback we will improve the facility and expand it to other parks of Chennai. In future, we plan to create a community of readers who can have book discussions and spread the joy of reading further.

The reading zone will have several books with the variety ranging from short stories, biographies, novels, etc., and the public will have free access to these books. The initiative is also based on an element of trust on the society that the books are well maintained.

Today we launched an initiative of "Reading Zone" in GCC parks with an objective to inculcate reading habit among public and to provide access to books to the children in areas that predominantly have slum pockets. It also aims to improve the literacy levels with a focus on women
