Calling all #Scottish writers! I've seen some fantastic literature coming out of Scotland this year, and at @ScotsMagazine we want to celebrate it! Get in touch if you'd like to be featured on our #ScottishBookshelf.
It's great to see 'Good Listeners' included in the Bookshelf feature of the new edition of the Scots Magazine, available from 11th June (https://t.co/tYEJoJSMGu).
Thank you @ScotsMagazine & @katterpatter
Wildcamping with style on a #NC500 roadtrip last weekend - or perhaps it doesn't count as wildcamping when you have chairs, a firepit and a proper doormat for your tent! #AdventureOnYourDoorstep
In 1665 Cambridge University closed because of plague. Isaac Newton retreated to rural Lincolnshire. During his 2 years in lockdown he worked out calculus, the true meaning of colour, gravitation, planetary orbits & the 3 Laws of Motion. Will 2020 be someone’s Annus Mirabilis?

Witnessed the most amazing thing on the train to Edinburgh yesterday. A guy boarded in Wigan & sat opposite me. He went to sleep for an hour.
When he woke up he bought a sandwich, ate it & went back to sleep. (This isn’t a maths test, you don’t need to know the distance/speed).
