One thing I wished more people understood about climate change is that we have not yet experienced any where near the full consequences of the warming we've already caused.
Here's a 𧡠explaining why...
Reading Ultra-Processed People by @DoctorChrisVT and can only really describe it as game changing. It's everything you sort of suspected was true but well researched and evidenced. It has really changed how I feel about what I want to eat and offer to my children.
@DoctorChrisVT I'm hoping that the fact the kids are massive Operation Ouch fans means I can get them on board with some dietary changes π€π»π "Dr Chris says......"
A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. RT if you agree π³
Dear #JacobReesMogg, #fracking is not viable in the UK, no matter what earthquakes you're willing to tolerate. UK citizens want clean drinking water, safe unspoiled landscapes, clean energy and warm insulated homes. Businesses want a viable future without fossil fuels. #FrackOff
We face an urgent nature and climate crisis. But instead of a plan for nature's recovery on land and at sea, the UK Government is pursuing a dangerous agenda of deregulation that puts the very laws protecting wildlife at risk. But what does this mean exactly? (1/12)
Iβm sorry to say that @BBCr4today@bbc5live@BBCPolitics@BBCWorld@BBCWorldatOne
π π€« Didnβt consider this worth reporting
π€¨ Perhaps they thought it was so good people might start voting for us if they knew

@manwhohasitall Yeah, absolutely, we're not still living in the Nineties, ladies! My husband actually earns more than me. He still does the bulk of the childcare and house cleaning, he's just naturally better at it! For his birthday I got him a t-shirt that says 'Superdad'.
@manwhohasitall I really think that women just don't "see" the mess in the same way that men do. My husband is just better at multitasking and the aesthetics of the house. Despite being a working dad, he still keeps the house nice as he notices the little things that as a woman I just don't see.
