Why schools should stop pushing reading for pleasure https://t.co/lttoHSjZmq
Instead, let’s promote “reading for meaning” Teach our learners how to decode words and how to decode words for their meaning. #phonics@automaticity#fluency#vocabulary#affixes
Absolutely love this! Thank you @brian_poncy@learnwithmrlee Timing students is so powerful. It motivates and excites them. We @LexonicST set the timer for all our #literacy activities because it works. It builds automaticity and accuracy!

My brother over 6 yrs has had spells in The Freeman, Edinburgh Royal and Queen Eliz. The food served to patients has been absolutely appallingly. He also spent time at Dumfries where the food was excellent.
