There will be no instruction in HCS on Tuesday, February 16. Tuesday, February 16th will be used as a snow day for all Henderson County students and staff. We would like for our students, staff and families to take a break and enjoy an old fashioned snow day tomorrow.
Due to unsafe road conditions Henderson County Schools will be utilizing Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) for tomorrow, Monday, February 8th. This means that Group 1 students will not be attending school in-person tomorrow.
HCS Childcare Centers will operate on regular schedule.
HCS Reopening plans for the 2020-2021 school year. Families have the option to choose between In-Person Instruction or the Virtual Academy.

During the June 25, 2020 Henderson County Board of Education special called meeting, board members approved a revised academic calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.
August 26th has now been set as the first day of school for students.
