Pseudologia Fantastica refers to a pattern of elaborate, persistent lying, while Factitious Disorder involves falsifying or inducing symptoms to appear sick.

Magkaiba po sila, ha! And no, not everyone who lies has a psychological disorder. Let’s not confuse knowing psychological terms with actually understanding them.

And to those asking if my post was cryptic — yes, it was about her. I won’t deny it. As someone with a medical background, I know better than to throw diagnoses around carelessly. But being careful with clinical terms doesn’t mean I can’t recognize dishonesty when I see it.

I’m disappointed, that’s all. Not because I expected anything in return, but because I genuinely cared. I even offered my help, and I did so with sincere intentions. Sometimes, it’s not even about what happened, but the fact that you cared enough to be there for someone, only to end up disappointed. That’s what hurts.

ykw, it’s kinda frustrating bc I just experienced a loss last month. we lost a very special dog who meant so much to our family. I couldn’t even eat kase I kept asking myself why I have to feel sadness every month when I can’t even fucking process sadness itself. like I’ve always learned to avoid my feelings instead of confronting them. so yes, everything still feels like a dream to me, and I feel so bad for myself. 🫩
