@RottenInDenmark And that study was just Ontario. It was hard for me to get an ADHD diagnosis in BC. And to get accommodations, I had to send my official diagnostic report, and meet with a disability advisor.

@RottenInDenmark The documentation they sent for the study included a report from a fake licensed neuropsychologist stating the student was “most consistent with a presence of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder”.

Like, that's why she got the accommodations?

I never realized how much Trump builds an “us” when he speaks. It’s we, us, or them, other people, some people. He draws sharp simplistic binaries for complex issues.

“We had the best economy in the history of America” as like, the first thing you say in a debate as trump is bold. He does so much “we know this isn’t good, we know this is bad” in drawing a really simple good/bad for really complex topics.

Every day I fall more in love with statistical analysis, and get more sad that I didn't have any methods exposure in my poli sci undergrad. I feel like I'm playing catch-up, but it's so worth it.

@sheenzesez As some who is polyam, I absolutely feel jealousy. As others have said, naming it, and reflecting on where it’s coming from has been very important and useful. Most of when I feel jealous is around either a need not being met, or my own insecurities.

First semester of my MA almost done. Working on my final IR paper. Either my paper is unintelligible nonsense or actually has what feels like my first ever original idea in academia.

@ChillAsHellYYJ Thank you!! I loved my philosophy logic classes in undergrad, even when I did have to do math, so I’m more optimistic now. Being in grad school feels like I’m re-learning how to do everything!

I need to understand statistics and banish my fear of math. Any recs for good overviews/books/online course etc? Mostly for social sciences (polsci) — I’m taking a quant methods course next semester, but I need working knowledge sooner!

I am normally anywhere from a size 12-18 depending on the brand/style/cut/fit. I like fun and am not avoidant of bold, but still like things to be stylish -- thank you! 3/3

In the process of curating a more professional wardrobe - being tall and curvy is a nightmare for finding slacks/pants - I don't like the elasticized waist that some plus size clothing relies on - I want to be able to wear a belt if need be. 1/3
