As much as large market, region-wide outlets try to cover every council across the Lower Mainland, fact is, they can’t.
Local outlets are so, so important. Some of the best accountability pieces have been done by these reporters.
I worked at all of these outlets earlier in my career.
This is just awful.
I don't know who, if anyone, is left dedicating coverage to these communities.
