It’s typically do to state employment laws. For example, in Illinois, if you work 7.5 consecutive hours the meal break must begin no later than 5 hours after the start of your shift. Unfortunately, an employer allowing you to take your break on the last hour would be breaking the employment law in Illinois. It’s a fight you need to take on at a local level, not with your employer.

What happens when Claude Tag starts turning casual Slack conversations into actual decisions that were never formally approved?

Most Slack channels are a mix of brainstorming, random ideas, side discussions, and decisions that never really became decisions. If an AI has persistent access to all of that and can act on it, isn’t there a risk that it starts interpreting casual conversations as approved instructions?
