@SXMCollege@ESPN_Schick@RoddyJones20 I only caught the part of today’s show when y’all were discussing college preseason polls…which I can’t stand. What is your take on the NFL and their lack of preseason polls & how it affects their ratings?
I took my son and daughter to a Forrest Frank concert recently... and I have to be honest: As a pastor, this is why I believe this man is actually a PROBLEM.
@CFF_Jacko@VolumePigs Being an Aggie, I hope he has a great yr. Played 4A HS ball not far from me. Piled up big stats but rarely had to fight for yds, doesn’t break many tackles or have much wiggle. I like Morrow due to twitch & burst, not a banger either. TAMU returns 1 OL, new OC. We’ll see #nervous
I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.
@PlankShow@philsteele042@SXMCollege Hey Chris. I love the @PlankShow on Ch 84. College fantasy football question : who has the inside track to be RB1 for the Tulsa Hurricanes this year?
Traces of Texas reader Odie Waters sent in this amazing footage of deer in the floodwaters of Cibolo Creek in Boerne, Texas. Fortunately, all three survived. I always knew that deer are surprisingly strong swimmers and have read that they can swim for miles if need be, but I've never seen any actually swimming.
Thank you, Odie. Glad the deer made it!
