Poised on the brow of the young Oak-wood hill until moments later when 4 others bolt from their tree hides and all silently spring to the field on the safe, unwatched-by-us side of the hill. But this moment...
@PeteUK7 I've had the same thought with delivery people - unable to give genuine feedback because of the knowledge that anything I say will only only be used to punish the individual, not improve the system. It sucks, in a system where feedback should be a mechanism for improvement.
🎉CO2 Monitor Giveaway!🎉
In one week I will be giving away an Aranet4 Home to a random winner. To enter, all you need to do is reply with how you'd use the device in the comments and reshare this post
The Aranet4 Home has remained the gold standard of CO2 monitoring for quite a few years now and it still remains my most used air quality monitor to date.
@safe_breathe I would use it at healthcare appointments, for visiting elderly parents and basically anywhere I have to go, to check for adequate ventilation!
@danielgoyal Thank you for this piece @danielgoyal - I see so many people (including media and politicians) make broad comments on 'the NHS' without apparently appreciating that the NHS in Scotland and England are completely separate and run very differently.
@wonderartsy I only discovered in 2022 that my frequent headaches were caused by pollen when while masking, I realised I wasn't getting the headaches any more - a revelation!
@annesmithmcc And, accepting the point in the question means their stance on providing no protections from mass infection in workplaces and public buildings makes them liable for this mounting damage
@sara_endipidy@1goodtern@MamaToronto I agree, although the MS health professionals that deal with my care seem weirdly blasé about the risks of Covid, and me trying to avoid catching it sometimes feels like it's seen as a quirky personality trait🤷♀️
@DSEDunn@Sunny_Rae1@BBCr4today@amolrajan@BBCSounds@BBCRadio4 Here's an excellent open letter in @BylineTimes to the BBC's incoming Director-General, warning him that the right-wing press wish him nothing but ill and that pandering to them, as the BBC has been, is likely only to further damage the BBC... https://t.co/9cqwOIZJEf
@BBCr4today@amolrajan@BBCSounds Please stop platforming this woman. Why don’t you speak to those doctors and scientists with *actual” expertise in long COVID, POTS, ADHD, autism & the other non-psychosomtic conditions this woman doesn’t have the first clue about and then you might realise the level of damage 1/
I'm in a lull on twitter without much visibility, so probably hardly anyone will see this, but here's an important thread on "why everyone's sick all the time".
No, you are not imagining it.
Sickness is increasing.
Sickness absence rates are increasing.
**Vaccines do not prevent transmission**
**Babies are not vaccinated against Covid**
**Many immunocompromised people cannot be vaccinated**
**Vaccines are not widely and easily available**
And, once more,
**Vaccines do not prevent transmission**
@thereal_truther@PeteUK7 No offence to you, but I find your substantive conversations sometimes unnecessarily combative and bullish, and can't imagine who leaves an encounter with you persuaded to change their mind.
This time has been slightly better mind you.
It also might just be a cultural thing.🤷♀️
@thereal_truther@PeteUK7 you literally told me to 'move on' just today, even though I am clinically vulnerable and at higher risk of death and long covid despite vaccination https://t.co/ZE4VhVyqCs
@thereal_truther@PeteUK7 It's literally from 3 days ago: yes, during the pandemic, which is now.
You're stuck in denial. All these harmful diseases would be helped by measures to prevent Covid, and by fewer people denying the harms that we can see all around us - how do you know what I care about?
