During his speech at @RJC last night, Michigan Senate candidate @MikeRogersForMI didn’t say the word Islam or Muslim once.

I counted. Neither did the Vice President.

After RJC, it became clear to me there is an aversion to saying the words Muslim and Islam coming directly from GOP leadership.

Rogers even went as far as saying “I don’t care how Abdul prays.”

This is why Mike Rogers is not polling double digits ahead of Abdul. If Mike Rogers actually addressed the Islamic threat in Michigan and he actually had the courage to call Abdul out for his embrace of Islamic terrorism, he wouldn’t be tied with a literal jihadist who signed a pledge to the Muslim Brotherhood who defended a pro-Hezbollah terrorist who committed a terror attack at a Jewish school in Michigan.

I refused to clap for Mike Rogers last night and I refused to stand for him when others did because I was overwhelmed with disappointment in his refusal to address the Islamic threat that our country is facing.

I am deeply disturbed by his desire to pander to Muslims. It is incredibly dark and dangerous.

I wonder how many Michigan voters feel the same way as I do.
