A Superior Court judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the Kennedy Center against client and acclaimed drummer Chuck Redd under DC's Anti-SLAPP Act.
The Center sued Redd following his comments in December on his decision to withdraw from the Center’s Christmas Eve program.

Redd said he canceled because President Trump’s name was added to the center.
The judge said there was no breach of contract because a contract was never signed, and the lawsuit was based on the political statement Redd made, which is covered under D.C.’s anti-SLAPP law. @DCNewsNow

The Social Security Administration now says members of Elon Musk’s DOGE team working at the agency last year accessed and shared sensitive data.
The disclosure seemed to confirm some key concerns first raised in a whistleblower complaint last summer filed by the agency’s chief data officer, Chuck Borges.
