Be careful when buying used physical games for the Nintendo Switch 2, especially for titles that have just launched.

A recent buyer purchased a discounted copy of Pragmata for Switch 2 listed as “Like New” through Amazon deals

When inserted into the console, the game card became stuck and the Switch 2’s cartridge reader pins were damaged, leaving the system unable to read any other games.

Inspection revealed it was fake but looked almost identical to the official Capcom and ESRB label.

It was completely empty with no game chip, contacts, or other hardware.

This has been happening recently and appears to be a common return scam in which the internal components are removed from a real game before it is sent back to the retailer.

To protect yourself, examine any used cartridge for proper weight, a solid feel without rattling, accurate markings on the back, and a secure fit in the console slot.

When possible, test the game in your system before finalizing the purchase from a third-party seller.

If you call Film LA, the very first option is to report a production you think should be shut down for not having a permit.

The third option is to try and get a permit. If you don't get your application in my 10am a week before the shoot, they will not process your application. Not 10:05, not 12pm. Must be in by 10am. When you speak to the person at Film LA, they truly sound like they don't even want you to shoot there.

I hope whoever our next mayor is shuts down Film LA and makes it free and easy to get a permit.

LA has the best crews, the best casts, the best weather. It shouldn't be cheaper and easier to fly to Oklahoma and shoot there than it is to shoot at home. It's time to bring filmmaking back to LA.
