UPDATE: Authorities have launched a citywide crackdown on stray dogs following a suspected rabies outbreak. With over five dog-bite cases reported daily and three deaths so far, veterinary officers have urged the public to vaccinate pets, avoid unsafe meat, and report stray dogs.
To this end, Speaker Among directed the Attorney General to compel the Electoral Commission officials to undertake MPs on how the BVVK machines will work.
“Since we are the representatives of the people and we are all stakeholders, can we organise for Electoral Commission to have an interaction with us so that we get to understand what machines do, how they are supposed to be used so that we go out there to tell the people that this is what we will expect at the end of day,” Among said.

No specific date of the said training was confirmed as Speaker Among promised that MPs would be notified of the planned date for the engagement with the Electoral Commission through a text messages.
“We are going to discuss with the Electoral Commission and we will send you a message that the Electoral Commission will be available on such and such a day. And [it is up to] you to come, if you don’t come that will be your problem,” Among said.
