Incident:
We were sitting in a restaurant on Train Street, Hanoi. Our table was looking at the tracks. A set of Italians were sitting behind us and there was a continuous murmur between loud conversations. One of my friends noticed that they were talking about us. We turned and they asked us, "which country?". We said "INDIA". There was a sigh of relief and their reaction said it all and smiles came back to their faces and they started talking to us really well.

One of the Italian ladies in their crowd woke up and said that she thought I looked like a Pakistani cos of my long hair and was scared. We all started laughing and I showed my Aadhar Card which said Govt of India! All of them laughed and I also felt relieved.

That's the reputation of Pakistanis across the world. So, why wouldn't they hide their identity?

Moral of the story is you should never trust Kollywood in its present form. Even if the makers or actors have no ill-intention, the ecosystem will make sure their “narrative” is preserved in every-way.

Unfortunately we expect the victims to be scapegoats & victims yet again. அவர்கள் வலி நன்றாக புரிகிறது, உணர முடிகிறது.

Movie 1 - Soorarai Pottru.
It is based on Captain Gopinath who is a Brahmin. Captain Gopinath’s wife named her bakery as ‘Iyengar Bakery’.
But @Suriya_offl who played Captain Gopinath is not only shown as a non-Brahmin, he is a disciple of EV.Ramasamy (who openly called for killing all Brahmins). Needless to say lead female character who runs a bakery is also a non-Brahmin.
It doesn’t stop there, the movie inspired by a Brahmin couple has an opening scene portraying Brahmin in bad light. “இந்த வாயெல்லாம் பஞ்சாமிர்தம் நக்குறதுக்கு மட்டும்தான் திறக்கனும், புரியரதோ இல்லயோ”

Movie 2 - Amaran.
Biopic of Major Mukund who is a Brahmin and again @Siva_Kartikeyan playing the title role has been portrayed as non-Brahmin.

The same Tamil movie industry doesn’t hesitate a bit to ridicule, mock and abuse Brahmins in 99% of their movies.

Movie 3 - JaiBhim.
Movie based on true incident. A police character responsible for killing an innocent tribal man was shown symbolically as Vanniyar whereas in real life he is a Christian.

Tamil movie industry’s hatred for certain communities is well known and one cannot expect them to change their course.

But why to distort facts while taking a biopic or movie based on true incidents?
