Among the most fiercely fought battle is of Rezang La. The battle is a bright spot for India in the 1962 war with China. A place where 114 of brave Indian soldiers of 13, Kumaon Regiment laid down their lives and killed around 1300 PLA soldiers. My tribute to the real heroes.

Wrong interpretation.

For those unware, giving an example. Suppose Roll No. is 983011. 98 was the year (1998), 30 is Branch Code (Say, Mining) and then 11 is your Rank in that particular branch, as per rank in IIT Entrance exam.

It's like CRL, and was not based on reservation.

At @IITBHU_Varanasi, until 2012, roll numbers in each major were assigned based on JEE rank.

The general category had roll numbers in the first half of the batch strength. The reserved ones had in the second half.

As if the category tattooed on your face.

One carried resentment. The other carried a stigma

The reserved category students were seen as undeserving of the seat and were often given second-class treatment by the general category students.

Especially to those who came from privilege and had the same coaching & resources as everyone.

It mainly came from a sense of angst and injustice felt due to a substantial difference in scores between them in an exam where every mark is make or break.

@NafsSays Other two is Core Electrical, with which any related minor can be done, like Power & Automation.

If someone is particularly interested in that field, Electrical (Power & Automation) at Delhi could be a better option. It depends on interest. Otherwise, in IITs, any Core is better

I don’t know much about @BefittingFacts but i do know that he had to face worse form of abuses- his daughter was dragged in, he was slapped with cases n guess he was jailed as well. But then also he stayed put in Bengal. Man is relatively successful and perhaps that is the reason why no one will talk of what he went through. Like him or hate him, befitting’s story is also of conviction and endurance against political mafia!

As per the rules, the middle berth is meant for sleeping only between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

What are the rules for trains running during the daytime (Trains starting and reaching destination in daytime) with sleeper berths?

Destination to destination, if a train is 1.30 to 2 hrs late, it will make up.

If it's 2–3 hrs late, it's manageable to cover up, though slightly.

More than 3, it will get delayed and delayed more !
