The state of some of the @NUP_Ug leaders who we deployed as supervisors for yesterday's election. Hon. Dr. Hilderman together with Hon. Kayemba Solo were first grabbed by the military, and later Mayor Walukaga. They were violently assaulted and spent the whole day in a drone. They were dumped in Kiruddu past 1:00am. As for Kira Municipality Mayor Julius Mutebi, he was grabbed violently, beaten very badly with wires and batons and dumped in Mutundwe at 3:00am.
Our brothers Big Eye, Wiser and many others are still in detention at Kawempe police while others are still missing. We also have many who are in different hospitals nursing wounds. Their only crime was trying to guard the election and prevent the rigging that was so evident!!! This in addition to the grave attack on the journalists.

How can the regime be so callous? How can they hate the citizens so much? How can they fear the people so much? ULTIMATELY, the people rise and reclaim this country.
