My friend Ankit was travelling from Pune to Jabalpur on 17 October 2026, when he allegedly faced a shocking incident at Itarsi Railway Station.

Coffee MRP: ₹27 Amount Charged: ₹30!

When he asked the vendor for a bill, the vendor allegedly refused, saying that bills were not provided, and reportedly behaved rudely with him.

But what the vendor allegedly did to my friend afterward is truly shocking!

Why are passengers being charged more than the printed MRP?

Why was a bill allegedly refused when the passenger asked for one?

Who is responsible for protecting passengers from such practices at railway stations?

Indian Railways must look into this matter and take appropriate action if the allegations are verified.

Passengers deserve fair prices, proper bills, and respectful treatment. Speaking up for your rights is not a crime!

Yesterday, I was traveling from Sealdah to New Delhi.
