I have never hated America because I didn't care for the POTUS. There have been times I was less than thrilled by either the POTUS or particular actions of the sitting POTUS. But I always root for the success of the country DESPITE the current POTUS or his actions while in office.

The problem is, much of the electorate has been kept in the dark and portions of the electorate just blindly vote R or D straight ticket without any thought.

I consider myself fairly informed. But I trusted too much. I am just as much to blame, I guess. I had no idea just how insidious this "cancer" was/is. I mean I instinctively knew (without proof) that the direction this country has been headed was wrong, a politician (local and Fed) had gone off the rails....but I did not know the extent of it. This saddens me greatly.
