How cool is this? Roots on a soybean plant from a conventional-till field (the two in Keith’s right hand), and from a no-till field (left hand). That long root will help the no-till plant be more drought resilient! Thanks to @Notillorg for the great workshop! @nature_kansas

A #WaterTechfarmFieldDay was held at the #WaterPACK & #ILSFarm yesterday. Field days are a way to see technology in action allowing producers to use less water, be more efficient & sustain yields. Yesterday 40 attendees talked about the technology employed and the overall project

Who knew dirt was so entertaining? 😀 @elsimiller and @abbeymarcotte joined the Conservancy's Rob Penner to survey Deception Creek north of Cheyenne Bottoms preserve. No flowing water = examine the substrate.
