The problem with coming up to fight bad governance in Uganda is that many people will look at it as your exclusive responsibility to do so. They’ll then sit aside and start theoretically analysing and criticising your efforts - what you are doing right or not. While they are affected by the same problems you are fighting, it is not their primary duty to do anything about the problems beyond playing like linesmen and disinterested scholars. Even under harsh political environments, they’ll call you weak and mock you for being beaten by a system you should be joining hands to face. That is how even those who try end up quietly withdrawing.
My attitude is to respect, support and encourage those who try to do what I can’t do but that I find necessary to be done. Let everyone add what they can, not just feeling entitled to being saved by another perfect person.
In whatever am involved in i commit 100%. I never regret the choices that i committed to 100% no matter the outcomes but i would regret the choices I didn't fully commit to because i will be like maybe if I committed more, outcomes would be different. Atleast I will know I tried
There are those people you find and your only regret with meeting them would be that you had met them earlier but in spite of the ups and downs you go through with them you are still grateful to God that you finally crossed each other's paths.
In the near future, Our daughters will be seeking marriage council from their aunties who have also failed in their marriages. Let's break the unstable marriage cycle, it starts with you.
Monday is here & as promised; the number of the staff of Parliament has more than doubled in the last 2.5 yrs she has been in office. She started on the day after her election as Deputy Speaker when she demanded that Herbert Ariko who had just lost an election in Soroti becomes her PPS. The then Clerk to Parliament Jane Kibirige responded to her letter & said that wasn’t possible b’se there were p’ple in the Parliamentary Service that she could choose from (those at the level of Director). She forcefully brought in Ariko & in a commission meeting demanded that he should be hired on contract even if it contravened the law. That was the start of Kibirige’s troubles & her eventual dismissal.

Creating a money circle is hard but even harder to maintain. It also takes time. Trust and leverage are key, trust is key in the start but leverage is crucial in maintainance.
At times you may think they dnt know how You sob with them when they are sad, smile with them when they are happy but then you realise that they actually acknowledge it but they just dnt want to believe it.
